Advice on Securing vehicles during warm weather

In hot weather, while it might be tempting to leave car windows open for ventilation, we advise against it due to increased security risks. Leaving windows, sunroofs and convertibles open, even slightly, makes vehicles vulnerable to theft and burglary. It's recommended to always lock your vehicle, even when parked at home or in a garage, and to keep windows, sunroofs and convertibles closed and locked when the car is unattended. 

Leaving windows or sunroofs open, especially if accessible, makes your car an easy target for opportunistic thieves. 

Locking your car and keeping valuables out of sight are crucial steps in preventing vehicle crime.
